Nina Kennel studied performance at HEAD–Genève, Geneva School of Art and Design and is currently conducting further research at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Her work focuses, among other areas, on the creation of narratives based on events and works from the world of the arts and contemporary cinema. She is particularly attentive to the audience’s experience, to what they talk about based on what they have seen, perceived and felt. She one day hopes to be able to demonstrate that “imagining things” (literally se faire un film, “making one’s one movie” in French) also has something to do with cinema.
